Rachelle Rea Cobb

make your words work for you

This Quiet Sky by Joanne Bischof

This book will impact you.

With her signature grace and heartwarming style, Joanne has crafted yet another unforgettable story: this time it may not end the way you expect.

Going in, I knew how things might play out, so I was prepared to cry. Little did I know how joyful the end of the book would leave me. Not only because the ending left some unexpected hope to be had, but because the entire story was just that: one of hope.

Sarah is relatable, shy, not great at math. But Tucker is, so he becomes her tutor–and a dear friend. Then, more.

In that sweet way Joanne is so good at, she spins their love story with tact and great spirit. And the tragedy feels less like tragedy and more like a longing fulfilled. It’s hard to explain, really.

You just need to read it.

And be prepared to not only cry but see great joy.

Beautiful review, Rachelle. I agree with you on this one – it’s ultimately a joyful read even through those tears. :)
