Dear 2016, you’ve been simply unforgettable.
A Recap of the Twelvemonth
// January //
In January, I accepted Poem as my word, even though poetry is the one form of writing I don’t do.
// February //
In February, my boyfriend and I celebrated our first Valentine’s Day with IHOP. The man knows my love of breakfast food.
// March //
In March, I waited. You see, it had been a year since he and I had started dating…and we’d already looked at rings. ;) I also waited for the release of my third book!
// April //
In April, we got engaged and my third book released!
// May //
I planned a wedding (in just two months)!
// June //
Reader, I married him.
// July //
This summer, I moved from my parents’ home to my newlywed nest. It was a lot of change and transition, some sweet, some strange–like the time I had to text my mom wondering if one can run the dishwasher and the washing machine at the same time. Newsflash: you can.
// August //
I hosted another book signing at my favorite coffeeshop.
// September //
We celebrated my husband’s birthday!
// October //
We weathered a hurricane and celebrated Silver’s birthday in style!
// November //
Thanksgiving and oh-so-very-much to be thankful for!
// December //
Christmas came and went, along with our six-month anniversary!
