I don’t write a Christmas letter, but I write a Year letter. One I stuff in an envelope and reopen again only on New Year’s Eve (I’ll do just that in a few hours), and one to share just with you. A bit longer than a tweet or a Facebook post, a bit shorter than, say, a book. =)
Dear 2015, you’ve been unexpectedly amazing in oh-so-many ways…
A Twelvemonth
// January //
In January, I hosted my first cover reveal and revealed Gwyn to the world! I also prayed this over my sisters.
// February //
In February, I started a new job and turned in the first two books to my editor!
// March //
In March, I met my future husband, though I didn’t know it yet.
I killed my phone. I also drove to see my sister Sarah. I love how we talk Jesus and boys and books and theology until 2am (and longer). Seriously, thank a wise voice in your life today.
// April //
In April, I received edits on both books back on the Same Day! I also went to the beach and saw this starfish…
// May //
I traveled to NC again to see Sarah and go to Biltmore for the first time (Downton exhibit = gorgeous).
// June //
Diamonds released!
// July //
This summer, I read and reviewed some amazing books…
// August //
I had my first book signing! And my first bookstore signing!
// September //
I talked a bit about how I paid off my college debt the summer after I graduated.
// October //
Silver released!
// November //
Thanksgiving and oh-so-much to be thankful for!
// December //
Christmas came and went, but this Truth came to stay…
